Did anyone else see this yesterday in the paper. This will be great if it is implemented.

I cant see that happening and even if it does, here in the UK we will still be years behind. Sad

From what I remember sending microwaves through waveguides that are anything other than smoothwalled and highly conductive causes such attenuation as to be a hopeless enterprise.

In any case, here in the UK, a lot of our newer gas supply pipes are plastic; pity they didn't feed in fibre as they were laying them.

I agree with phil6580 in the uk we are so behind it's unreal and lets hope B.T or AOL never get hold of this idea as thay would charge us for somthing thay could not surpply Laughing
