hi,

i am trying to tile an animated gif to make it fill a space 5 accross by 10 down, to reword, lets say my gif is 1 inch square i want it to tile a space with itself of 10x5 inches so in effect i would have one large animated gif showing 50 animated gifs at once...i have tried several different programs but cant seem to achieve what i need, you would think it would be a matter of pasting and aligning...not so....any ideas ??

Loady, if you have PS CS2 you can create a animated gif in ImageReady.
My little "tkboxer" avatar was made using Photoshop to create the shapes and text and then opened in ImageReady to create the gif.
Once opened in ImageReady choose Window/Animation from the menu bar.
Use the Help contents under Create Web Animation, its almost step by step and not too hard.
One thing I should mention though, the larger the gif the slower it could run, for some reason they seem to take a lot of processor power or something.
You may have to downsize your project, but it doesn't hurt to try, go for it.
Hope this helps.

Thanks TK, i think you missunderstood me though.....i am not trying to create an animated gif, i already have an animated gif that is 54x43 pixels, i want this gif to appear 50 times in 5 columns and ten rows to make one big gif....i have tried image ready and lots of other programs...i just dont think it is possible to copy the gif and paste it over and over, it only ever pastes the image that is visible at the time of copying....i have to say that i think that GIF files are files of the devil.
