Hmmm...
Well, Brendan Fraser hasn't hardly aged at all, but suddenly his son has gone from a rug rat to early-mid twenties. And what happened to Rachel Weisz? Who is that incredibly wooden woman next to him? The one who has a complete and utter lack of chemistry with Fraser? I thought she was the mummy he was going to have to fight. She must have banged someone somewhere to get the part.
OK, on an action level this movie was ok, although over-laden with CGI, but on a people and story level this one was severely deficient. Not horrible to watch, but I'm glad I waited for the rental to see it. Not even close to the first two installments. |

I agree 100% with this one. They should have either had it that his wife died, or away.. anything except what they did. not sure about all the hype either... I mean really;"The best of the series"? What was that reviewer on?
A good watch but no where near as good as the previous 2. C+ to maybe a B- _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |
