Can anyone who has set one of these up give me some more info. Do I need extra hose or will the hose inside the printer reach? If I need hose, what size? And does the bottle need a breather hole in it? Is the waste ink safe to recycle? |

It's the ink that gets sprayed into the big absorbent pads inside the bottom of your printer whenever the printer does a clean cycle. They eventually fill up but on the Epsons there is a little trapdoor on the back and you can pull out the hose that carries the waste ink. |

Depending on the printer you have, there should be a little hatch on the back held in place with a screw, if you remove the hatch you should be able to see the tube, it runs from the suction part along to the right and is just rested onto the pads, use some sort of pick to lift the end out and port it into a recepticle. The following thread on another forum is quite a few pages long, but read it al and you will have all the knowledge you need to perform the mod, its easy once you know what your doing.
