Hi all, I'm so excited that I just had to let you know that I have just treated myself to a nice present... Here is the link to what I have bought myself. http://www.johnlewis.com/Computing/Computers/Computers/Laptops/230230149/Product.aspx
I told Kylumi about it and he said that he was Green with envey and that I should do a post and make some others Green with envy... Hope you like it... Very Happy

Thanks KillerBee, But I can't use it until Tuesday because I've paid for a Technical Engineer to come along and set everything up for me and I was told that the boxes mustn't be opened until the engineer calls, just in case there is a problem setting it all up, that way they can't say it was through me installing something wrongly... So I am eagerly awaiting Tuesday coming...

It shows the price at the top righthand corner. Anyway the total cost was as follows:-

Laptop: £1,299:97p

Router: £49:99p

Setup Fee: 80:00

Total Cost: £1,429:95p

Seems expensive, but I'm sure it will be well worth it. (Hope so anyway) Laughing Wink

Hi loady, So if I'd gone to dabs I could have saved £7:00. But at Dabs you can't see what you're buying in real time. Also, I'm not really bothered about paying an extra £7:00. As for the setting up. I realise that you are suppsed to just replace your Broadband modem with the Router and then follow instructions, but 3 of my friends have all had problems not being able to get it up and running, so Rather than have the bother of messing about for ages trying to get it right, I decided it would be easier to pay for an expert to sort it. Afterall having spent that amout on the Laptop, what's another £80:00 to have peace of mind that it's setup properly and working. Plus you can't take your money with you when you finally go, so why not enjoy it while you can... Smile Very Happy Wink

Actually Loady, after having another look at the prices, there is a difference of £107:00 NOT £7:00.. But hey, who's bothered, I bought it now and there's no use crying over spilt milk... (lol) Wink
