Having seen some of the covers and labels that have been proposed for upload, it is quite obvious that quite a number of members have not bothered to calibrate their Monitor. Unless you calibrate your monitor you will not be able to spot the different shades of Black and Dark Gray. I would therefore suggest that those members who haven't calibrated their monitor does so now. Below is a link to a test page that will show you if your monitor is calbrated correctly or not. If you cannot see all the different shades of Black and the different shades of white, you will need to make adjustments until you can...

Here is the link http://epaperpress.com/monitorcal/

It makes a big difference when you are trying to adjust Levels.

Thank you mate for the link. I tried it and got perfect results. Mind you I've used Adobe Gamma to calibrate my monitor and saw the difference initially and it was amazing how a well tuned monitor shows the colors so acurately.

I seem to recall in the early days some graphics cards came with a calibration sheet made of plastic and you had to match them up in some way...which I cant remember now lol!!
Thats enough useless information for today I think Wink

Hmm! Thanks, I read it quickly, and I'm not sure how to adjust black levels.

I'll read it a little more closely later. Smile
