I have been using the Ritek G05 discs that I get from Rima.com. They cost me about $28 for 100 discs. I have not had too many problems with them, but am going to try TY disc next. I've heard there the best, but that comes with a price.

I have to agree.

I've used everything from Prodisc to Taiyo Yuden. And over the long haul, the following applies...."you get what you pay for." I've not experienced ONE bad burn with TY. So the little extra money is well worth it.

I always use Verbatim +R hub printable discs #94917 MCC004 media coded and I've never had any problems with them at all
no bad burns or anything like that and I just love the super smooth print surface on them. I guess they are the next best thing
to the Taiyo Yuden discs only just a little bit cheaper. Very Happy

Hey for all you Canuker's out their ( go Oilers) Costco Canada is having a Buy One Get one on Printable TDK 100 packs. They're normally 46.99 for a 100 pack of printable disks but for 46.99 for 200 printables figured I would give all a heads up THEY GO on sale JUNE 19 - 25. Great deal
Only drawback is that they are not Full hub for those who love the full hub.

I second the motion. I buy 300 at a time. I never have problems. It is important to use discs that are approved by the maker of your burner for best results. I use the Pioneer DVR-110.

Time to get some TYs. They are the only consistently good media around.

I used Ritek for a bit (2 batches) because I was able to get a good price on them, but I had 3 coasters in 200 discs. I have also used Verbatim, with no probs, but I wasn't able to get hub printable ones here in Canada. I have also used Maxell, Memorex, and TDK. The TDKs I was able to get for $16 for 100, so I figured I had to try them. Not hub printable, but cheap. 4 coasters in the first 100! Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Now I use TY discs and I have never had a bad one. They do cost a bit more, but it's still cheap at about 0.75 cents a disc, and the quality is fantastic. Now it's TY or nothing.
