i've been looking and have only seen the blu-ray or HD versions in w/s. i prefer a new one =) TIA.

Don't remember ever seeing a WS version of it anywhere I might be wrong but
I believe it is only available in the 1.33:1 format someone please correct me if
I'm wrong about that.

| It looks as if Kubrick didn't like the idea or sanction the release of his works presented in widescreen on media. The fact his work is being released in widescreen HD disc is a good thing. Maybe we'll just have to wait until realistic-priced dual format HD players (200-300 bucks or less) are released to warrant the purchase of this on disc. |

Kubrick believed in 1.33:1 format for his films. As far as I can recall only one of his films was released in anything wider. He believed a lot was lost knocking out the top and bottom of a film, which is actually how widescreens are made, in theory, not the other way around.

Weird...I have the Stanly Kubrick edition myself and never noticed it was full screen.
