i was wondering if someone can help me out i want to scan dvd labels and then print them on a epson 340 printable media printer can someone tell me what size the scanned label should be and what resolution and any other tips i should use thx in advance |

Make sure your glass is clear of dust and markings.
always scan at at least 600 dpi, and reduce to 300 once you edit down to your final product.
no need to adjust your scanner to scan a certain size. just crop the scan down to the top/bottom and sides of the label. then adjust the size (in your program of choice...PSP or PS) to either 1400x1400 or 1500x1500 (the two most used sized).
i'm sure there are other tips out there as well...but that's the info i can pass along. |
