I woke up this morning to find out my mouse decided to just quit working. I was wondering what mouse everyone is using since I now must buy a new one. I have been using a Logitech MX1000 laser mouse for a year and a half. Now I am back to the standard ball roller and it has got to go. Before I buy a new one I just wanted some opinions. Thanks. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS! |

mx1000 is quite nice. but as it's only lasted 18 months, i suppose you're looking for something new? |

Yes, I was just hoping to get something with less problems. The first one I got I had to return because it didn't work after I installed it. The second one lasted 18 months. While it lasted, I loved the performance, but it acted as though the laser quit working. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS! |

How is th mouse broken? The battery? Laser or connection?
Of course wireless is the only way to go.
And then must have a dock with rechargale battery.
Logitech MX610 for $40
or the MX1000 again!
love this mouse |

There is something wrong with the laser. I was afraid this was going to be my option. I have really liked the MX1000 for about a year and a half, but was just checking to see what other people are useing since I need a new one. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS! |

m$ optical wired mouse £3.95...with a long wire and careful placement, much better than a wireless,,,,i have tried numerous wireless with normal batteries, recharables and have always given me problems, they are not as responsive for games and the batteries have to be at thier optimum to get FULL range on them. _________________ Success is a journey.....not a destination. |

Logitech G5. Wired. Adjustable weight. Responsive. Doesn't feel cheezy. Best mouse I've ever had. Only downside is the price. _________________ If you can remember the sixties........you weren't there. |

I broke down and bought another MX1000. I can't find another mouse as good as it for the money. I paid $59 on line. I just couldn't pass it up. Thanks for everyone's suggestions. _________________ GO SEAHAWKS! |
