Maybe you can give a light drop shadow on the kids picture on the front .

Nice cover J0nn0, but there is a bit of White text with a blue background near his left hand and the text on the back is running over onto his right shoulder., but I'm sure you'll sort these out after the holidays...

The synopsis font does nothing for me i'm afraid.
Perhaps on the front you could move the kids pic on the front up a little to balance it out. If that doesn't work I'd suggest removing the dvd logo from the front. It looks out of place half on the kids foot like that imo.
Hope you don't mind the feedback. This is with WIP section after all.
