any of you UK folks know if this Dan Akroyd / John Belushi (1981) film is on DVD in region 2 countries? It's not released in R1. I'd love to get this.

if anybody comes across this, let me know.

thanks.

It was a great film back in the day very funny but I guess the studios here in the USA
just doesn't want to waste their time by bringing it out on DVD yet hmmm.... maybe we
should start a petition or something to get them to release it on DVD here in the US. Wink

I would of been 5 at the time, '81.

It's odd, I don't remeber this film whatsoever, not even VHS rentals growing up.

I want to see it now. I love John Candy! Very Happy

I don't believe John Candy is in it. It's been a long time since I've seen it, but I think it is John Belushi and Dan Akroyd. I just remember a lot of music from The Doors. Good movie, if my memory serves from teenage years. I've been let down before.

Yep you are correct snips m8, John Candy was not in that movie the stars in the movie Neighbors was
John Belushi, Kathryn Walker, Cathy Moriarty, and Dan Aykroyd and yes your memory does serve you
right it was indeed a very funny movie. Wink

I wonder if the rights to this film are somehow in legal limbo, maybe tied up in the estates of these two actors, this is the America afterall and the legal system is out of control.

That could very well be the case tk and the main reason it hasn't been released on
DVD here in the States yet.
