Supermediastore has a pretty good deal on generic Epson ink carts.
12 for $28 shipped...works out to 2.33 each...not too bad.
Can't find any of those 99 cent a cart deals anymore.

I can't believe everyone's still using carts. Check into continuous ink system, you will never go back to carts again.

I have switched to the refillable carts for the time being and when I get my
new desk setup I will be going with a CIS system soon afterwords myself
after I get the extra desk space for it. Very Happy

I think I'd rather use the cheap carts than the CIS anyway. Any pictures of CIS setups that I've seen look like something out of a horror movie, with tubes and bottles et al. All that's missing is the green monster and the bolt of lightning! lol

Well, I've used a CIS system for almost 2 years, but I currently have a black cartridge in there (the rest are drawing from the CIS). Once the other colors run out I'm going back to cartridges all the time. The CIS is a bit cheaper, but I've had too many issues over the last 2 years. Head cleaning all the time, lines with air, didn't run smooth, etc. It just seemed like too much work to keep it running right all the time and last year I had a printer actually die on me and I think a big part of it was due to the CIS.

With generic cartridges available for $1 - $2 now, I'll stick with the cartridges.

I got my order from meritline 3 colors (24 pcs) were dated 9/2009
2 colors (16 pcs) were dated 11/07 and the last color (8 pcs) was dated 5/07 Iwrote them a e-mail telling them that I was not happy with such a wide range of expiration dates, they have yet to get back to me. Oh yeah they were different mfg's. you take your chances no matter where you buy unless you have it right in front of you.

I get my bulk inks here
http://www.atlanticinkjet.com
top quality ink, prompt shipping, most refilling companies I know locally use this companies products, and I've yet to find any cheaper or better.
they have both Canadian and US sites and pricing.

cheers
