Well, first off I wouldn't have gone to see this in a theatre at all had I not been in Mexico and looking for a movie with english dialogue. That being said I didn't see what all the production was about this movie. They called it dark. Er.. no. Darker than the others maybe, but.. c'mon, it's Harry Potter.
The storyline advance but the sequences in the movie itself weren't particularly interesting. The villainess (if you can call her that) was more of a comic relief thing than anything else. It felt rather like a patchwork attempt to pull storylines ahead than anything else. More like they're setting up the next movie than trying to entertain you with this one.
Wait for the rental on this one, like I imagine most of us would have with the others, if you've bothered to see them at all. |

Of the 5 that have come out this is in my opinion the worst. Bu then again compressing the worlds larget book into a 2.5 hour movie isn't going to work very well anyway. It is disjointed and doesn't even come close to following the actual book. I'd give it a C _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |
