a movie about the best 300 spartan soldiers holding off hoards of enemy troops, seemingly outnumbered 10-1, until they are betrayed by disfigured man who was not allowed to fight w/ the spartans due to his disability.
overall, i was a little disappointed w/ the movie. it is a great story, but the visual storytelling was lacking something for me. grade: C+ (only gave it a + due to frank miller)

i'd have to give it alot more, enjoyed it alot great action scenes

Even though the historical facts are not very accurate, my wife and I found the movie very entertaining.

visually exciting and great action scenes but about as much depth as an ashtray full of water. A couple of good speeches though.
Strangely enough, while I wouldn't classify this as a great movie it is an entertainer, and definitely a good big screen watch. just leave your brain outside and bring your inner 12 year old in with you. |
