story about a jewish girl's plight to survive in german occupied europe. her family finds a tragic end during an escape plan, but she survives w/ the help of the resistance....she has to pretend to be german sympathizer as well. if you like world war 2 genre movies, you'll like this one. subtitles have to be used, but it's well worth it. grade: B+

BHD Twisted Evil

We watched this film and also thought it was terrific. It is very well done. My wife usually doesn't care for films that are subtitled but even she had to admit that it was very worth watching.

Anyone who has watched this film and liked it should see Soldier of Orange. A previous WWII movie by Paul Verhoeven. "Soldier" is kinda prequel and a far superior movie to this tamed down WWII spy flick. Hollywood has destroyed many directors, and Verhoeven isn't the exception. Sad

Thanks, I'm going to try to get it through Netflix.
