Grindhouse - Planet Terror

A parody of the zombie movies, this film had its tongue firmly planted in cheek when it was written. Intentionally overracted and using all kinds of cliched elements, this movie had nothing original in it but had the virtue of making what it had kind of funny, in an over the top way. Not much in the way of a story, but lots of exploding bits of people (obviously made not to look like exploding bits of people), campy humour, and lots of faces you'll recognize.

This one was more fun to watch than Death Proof, the other Grindhouse flick. Don't make a special trip for it, but if you've got a case of beer and some spare time on a Sunday afternoon then you can have a little fun with it.
