I watched the pilot and was pretty disappointed. It moved away quite a bit from what was established in the movies. In the movies young John Connor even as a little boy is a self-reliant rebel with some skills. In the tv series John is a whiny young man of more years who begs his mom to save him. Less skills, smarts and emotional development than what the kid half his age had in the films.
In the tv series the terminators sometimes remember to run fast, sometimes less so, and sometimes don't remember not at all. Lots of stuff gets banged up and beat up, sometimes for little apparent reason. There was just too much that didn't make sense. Not sure if I'll watch any subsequent episodes or not. |

I have to agree with you. I'm going to at least watch the episode tonight, to get through the premiere, but with what I"ve seen so far I'm disappointed. So far I'd give it a C _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |
