I wish they made more westerns these days, as I like the genre, and I was happy to watch and be able to enkoy this one. A solid movie with solid performances and a story that is quite clear but lots of room for thought with respect to exactly what relationships have developed, and what the dynamics and motivations are in each instance,particularly towards the end and at the end. The very end itself leaves you guessing as to the inner thoughts and the near future. Even though this is a character driven movie there's lots of action.

Good movie, good chemistry and interaction between Crowe and Bale, and generally one of the better recent releases in video, IMHO.

I Haven't seen it yet but I liked the original 3:10 to Yuma movie from
back in when was it 1957 I believe so I'll probably like the remake also. Very Happy

I finally got around to watching it but I did not like the way it ended at all
and I'll have to say that the original 1957 movie is still my favorite one but
this one has a lot more action in it and it's very watchable.

Never saw the orginal, show I thought it was decent, worth watching, better then alot of what is out there right now.

I agree with OP on the Western comment. I really liked Open Range and am looking forward to seeing this.
