movie about a young girl, lyra belaqua, who sets through a mystical journey to save her friends who were abducted by the GOBS. she has the help of her daemon, an armored bear and gyptians. starts nicole kidman.

ok, this was a pretty darn entertaining movie UNTIL THE END. it cut out right at a key point in the movie just so you'd go see part II. grrrrrrrrr....due to that, a whole grade drop. grade: C+

have to agree with u there BHD but the film is based on the books northern lights , think there is 3 books in the series
