Well, to begin with, you have to like the genre of romantic comedy to enjoy this movie. If you don't like the chick-flick moments then don't watch.

Having said that, this movie is a much more sophisticated entry into this genre than what you would usually see when you think of romantic comedies, and has charm and wit to it. It's less comedic than it is romantic, but the characters are engaging and believable, the situations aren't silly or incredibly over the top, and it's a great deal less predictable in the lines it takes than most movies of this type, although the discerning watcher will know where it pretty much has to end up.

The actors are all great in their roles, and although the story has a couple of big holes in it (but I don't want to give away the plotline or the ending by revealing them) It's largely a pretty intelligent watch, and quite touching in spots. I'd definitely recommend it, especially for a snuggly evening with your significant other.
