Death Race 2008 - Final Version

Started this one last night after my wife and I watched this one
still needs more work but wanted to see what you guys/gals thought of it so far

Just trying to think of a font style for the title, so this current title might be getting updated

Looks good nightowl.
How about tire tread font with a drop shadow by using the clipping mask, that might look good. Kick it around.

boxer - I did a tire tread font title but I'm not sure about it Confused

Here are 2 covers with 2 different title styles

Chrome look

Tire tread look

Both of those title fonts look good. I think its just a matter of what your preference is. Good looking cover, nice work.

I prefer the TT off cover three. Cool

Maybe you can ad a little bit of contrast so the black and fire will pop-up more.

I have not been able to work on it for awhile , been taking advantage of the weather to get the roof repaired.

I like the third font best, however it doesn't "pop" enough. It kind of gets lost on the cover

.......It's the title that I'm having fun with trying different things to see what I can come up with.....my goal for the weekend is to get the right look for the title. Will play more with the tire font and see what happens

This one is probably the hardest one that I have had to play with but I hope to resolve it Wink

played with the tire font for about an hour and this is what I thought stood out the best, but it could be my eyes......it's bed time

batboyshmatboy I tried swapping the colors but it blended in to much so it wasn't really noticable.....but I started to play with a previous one that I used and a applied a shatter filter to it and it seems to look not to bad what do you think....

Interesting what you did with the font. I think the crack lines should be black, the redish tone throws it off a little. Seeing the cracks gives me an idea, can you make that font look like shattered glass, or maybe the same texture and coloring as the mask in his right hand. Just a thought.

batboyshmatboy I played with your idea with the color of the mask and after several attempts I came up with one that works...

Redid the screen shots on the back, updated the credits and made 2 full faced labels...I think this will be the final version....hope you guys/gals like Smile

Me likely. It came out really nice. You did an excellent job on the font. The color came out perfect, the color and texture resembles the mask. Congrats.
