I was expecting a lot more from this one than what was delivered. I had heard the reviews were pretty good, and people were saying it was a good one-two punch with Iron Man/Hulk, but to me it was kind of like Ferrari/Toyota.

Where Iron Man was clever and funny without being excessively dumb this wasn't particularly clever or well written. Edward Norton, who to me is a major talent, was pretty much wasted here, and the direction seemed pretty weak. The story is linear and easy to follow, but follows along pretty cliched and predictable lines. The action was ok but nothing spectacular. The ending fell a little flat to me. The cameo with Robert Downey was kind of fun, as was the usual Stan Lee cameo.

Bottom line: it's a rental, and fine for that, and I'm glad I made the decision not to pay the big bucks to see it at the theatre.

I honestly don't think there has ever been a good flick done on Hulk. They always seem dumb. unlike some of the others. Glad I didn't waste money on it at the theatre,,, and don't think I'll waste the money on a rental either.

Not tough to do better. Think I fell asleep during the first one - it was a snoozer for sure...

Its got to be a really tough character to bring to the screen. Even the original series with Bill Bixby was hoaky.
