a remake that didnt turn out very well. the warden of a jail (joan allen) basically frames someone so that he's (jason strathan) put into her jail. she wants him to portray the famous driver, frankenstein, in her highly rated jail races. instead of playing the warden's game, frankenstein uses her race to formulate an escape with another inmate.
this was at grade: C. slightly entertaining movie. not even the hot babe could raise the grade though.

Actually I didn't find this movie half bad, but I never saw orginal, worth watching in my book, but then thats why they make different movies, everybodys tatse is different.

I thought this was a pretty fun movie. lots of good action and if we are willing to overlook some mediocre acting in spots then you can just sit back and enjoy the escapism. The babe was smoking hot too. lol
Mindless fun, but I've seen lots of higher "quality" movies this year that weren't anywhere near as entertaining. |
