Fairly standard Disney fare here. This one is aimed more at the kids than the adults, I think, as opposed to some of the clever mixtures that have come out in animated films in recent years. It was a decent watch, and kids would enjoy it, but it's nowhere near as good as Wall-E which also came out last year. Kind of stingy on the DVD extras too, which seems rare when animated movies come out these days, and which are sometimes the best part. |

Watched this over the weekend, and I have to say that I was very pleasantly surprised. This wasn't what I expected at all. There was a subtly hidden story line behind the classic good versus evil. Loyalty and honesty are things to be treasured the most.
One of the few Disney movies where the mom doesn't die!
This is also one of the few movies in recent times where I can say I honestly sat back and laughed while I watched. Rhino is priceless!! A good solid A _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |
