Excellent cast and acting driving this little Hitchcock-ian movie about a middle aged man who wants to leave his wife for his young girlfriend he's fallen in love with, and because he cares for his wife he plans to kill her to spare her the pain of his leaving her. Meanwhile, his best friend covets his girlfriend and wants to take her for himself. Al the parties have secrets they're keeping, as they all dance around each other.

The movie lacks a little oomph, and is strictly a character piece, but what's there is well written and very well-acted, and so despite the things that the story lacks it still ends up being interesting to watch, and it's hard to be sure who to root for as the story unfolds, so that keeps you involved to see how it all pans out. C+/B-
