a high powered book company executive (sandra bullock) is forced to make her long time assistant (ryan reynolds) marry her or she will be deported. she goes to his family home in alaska and the two find that they fall in love. she tries to do the nobel thing and tell everyone it's a sham, but in the end, they end up together.

as predictable as this movie was, it was just as funny and i do like to watch bullock films. grade: C+

Yep, that pretty much sums it up. A predictable story that we've all seen before, but filled with likeable characters and some charming and funny moments. I enjoyed it for exactly what it was.

Yep same here I liked the movie also even if it was a predictable movie
and Ryan Reynolds wasn't as funny in this one as he is in some of his
other movies still an enjoyable watch. Very Happy

I'd give it a rating of B-

Watched this the other night. Was bored and nothing on. I was pleasanly surprised. I found this entertaining, and enjoyed the humour that some people might miss. It is that dry kind of humour that I enjoy.

I did find it somewhat of a mismatch with Bullock and Reynolds, and their repective ages, but she does make a very good cougar.

I'd give this one a B
