this is a movie about a child who was brutally trained in the art of withstanding pain and being the ultimate killing machine, a japanese ninja. he leaves the brotherhood to eventually kill his former master, who killed his only friend at the compound, and bring down the clan.
this movie looked sooooooooooooooo good in the commercials and was promising for the first 15 minutes. after that, i was a bit disappointed. lol. the action was just "ok" and the story line was similar to that of the movie "hitman" where the killer had many flashbacks of his training days. not great, but i've seen alot worse. GRADE: B-
* this one is bloodier than most ninja movies.

| completely agree with BHD, on all points. Silly action in spots, but lots of it, and it kills a couple of hours. |
