personally, i am not a big fan. i did like the friday the 13th in 3D way back in the day, but these days w/ HD, i don't think it's necessary. to my eyes, bluray and hd is just right. i think 3D is the idea of a guy in the back room thinking, "what can we sell them now?" LOL. Mad

Too many questions remain about vision issues, headaches and such from continued viewing of 3D. Can't imagine a kid growing up watching 4 hours of 3D tv or more.

And personally, I can't see myself sitting in my house wearing those stupid glasses to watch tv.

I'm happy with HD and Blu-ray.

Got to agree with the first 2. I have no intention of purchasing a 3D TV..... Not that impressed

I have always hated 3D. It seemed like all they were tring to do was throw a few things at you.

Avatar however, has set a new standard for 3D. I actually felt as if I was in the movie.

Avatar was awesome... but Clash of the Titans was horrible. The 3D in that was as cheezy as the special effects were in the original.

I totally agree. I saw Clash of the Titans last week, and was very annoyed with it. Unlike Avatar, I was uncomfortable with the glasses and they hurt my ears. I was so into Avatar that I didn't notice the glasses after a while. I thing 3D is a fad that will fade quickly.
