| Well, if you know your mythology then you know how most of the story goes already, although the movie changed it up some. I heard the critics were pretty rough on it, but I found it to be ok. It wasn't a barn burner by any stretch, but aside from a few of the more obviously ridiculous mythological things (which if you weren't already expecting then shame on you) there wasn't really anything obviously wrong with the movie. Everything was ok (the acting, the story, the effects) but nothing better than ok, or worse than ok. A perfect "Matinee at the Bijou" kind of movie for a sunday afternoon. Some light fantasy escape. Maybe a B- for me. |

I saw this at the theater, because my ex loved the original. This had to be one of the WORST 3-D movies I have ever seen!!!!! Story and acting was .. ok. The 3-D effect was horrible.
I'd give the store/acting a C+, maybe a B-. I'd give teh 3-D an F.
