i know alot of you use taiyo discs, but i like the matte finish as opposed to the TY gloss finish. i've been using the ritek g05 discs for years, but i had a problem w/ one spindle from my last order. about 15 of them were no good; so, i thought i might try another brand.

do any of you use a hub printable, MATTE finish disc that has worked for you? TIA.....!

Sorry, I used to use verbatim 4.7's but lately I've switched to a shiny 8.5 and write on with a marker, now I just print out a cover or put them in a cd wallet.

i used to do that also, but as i got past a certain amount of disc, especially a series, it's hard to identify a disc as easily as i'd like. this doesn't take into account the space that a case might take Razz
i've been using those cases that hold 1,000 discs...

I've been using the Verbatims also, never a failure. Double print on them if you want the blacks to be black.

I've used a variety of different ones, but now I stick to Taiyo and then Verbatim if for whatever reason I can't get TY. If I can't get either of those then I just don't buy any until I can. Can't go too far wrong wither way.

I use to use verbatim 4.7's (+ or-) both had same problem, Play the dvdr 5 to 7 times and it will no longer work starts with digital break up and then freezing. They will work great for awhile.

I have probably tried just about every disc out there over the years but I have switched
over to using these disc's right here they have been the most consistent on burning and
doing quality scans and playback of any discs I have ever seen.

TDK 16X DVD-R White Inkjet Hub Printable Blank Media Discs 4.7GB
http://www.meritline.com/tdk-16x-dvd-r-white-inkjet-hub-printable---p-39868.aspx

These discs are made by FTI (Falcon Technologies Inc.) in UAE or United Arab Emirates
and are just as good or better than and Tayio Yuden discs I have used and the price on
them just can't hardly be beat anywhere else and they also have a matte finish on them.

$46.99 with FREE shipping for 200 discs

I have bought and stockpiled somewhere between 1800 - 2000 of them so far, with plans
on buying that many or more of them soon.
