a movie about how an overbearing mother and drug addicted brother get it together to get the youngest member of the family through the tough times in the boxing realm. the story culminates in a title shot after a multitude of setbacks.
while not a bad film, i felt this one was a bit over rated; it was slow at times. amy adams was good and deserved here nomination. there are alot better movies out there to watch.. GRADE: C
