has anyone ever purchased a ZT branded computer? there have been some killer deals component wise w/ this brand, but i've never heard of them. for example, i've seen the following deals:
i5, 3.26ghz, 8g mem, 1.5 TB hdd etc $699. not a bad deal.
i3, 3.10ghz, 12g mem, 2 TB hdd $699 also, not a bad deal.

I've delivered a few on my job for Fedex but have never got any feedback about them. They have been around awhile so at least they are not a fly-by-night operation. _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |

I've never heard of them before but if those prices includes a 19" or larger
LCD monitor then they are pretty good prices.
I'm like blknight3 said I always build my own from scratch that way I know
what is in there and know for sure it is high quality stuff and not some real
cheap junk like some of the big name manufactures use in their systems. _________________ Site Moderator

yes, i know alot of guys like to build their pc, but this is for my mom. don't need a lot of expensive parts for her since all she really does is the email and pogo thing!
i "might" attempt to build myself a pc, but i will have the 5 pound ball peen hammer in hand in case the frustration factor kicks in

Ever consider a netbook? Cheap, lightweight, portable, could double as a e-reader if she likes to read.
May be a way to go if she wouldn't mind a smaller screen. _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |
