a former cop turned mma type fighter refuses to throw a fight and the russian mob kills his wife. 1/2 way around the world, a young, chinese girl is found to be a mathamatical genius with a photographic memory and is taken by the triad to help them keep records of their illegal dealings and a coded combination to a safe inside her head.
while contemplating suicide, the fighter stumbles across the little girl after she had escaped the triad and makes it his business to protect her from the triad, russian mob and crooked cops. in the end, the fighter and girl turn the tables on all the bad dudes and escape to lead quiet lives.
for a statham movie, this was bad. the action was really average at best and plot was that of a D movie. this is definitely a rental on a rainy day type movie. GRADE: C/C-
