this was the third in a series (all featuring different actors) of movies featuring dr. alex cross. police detective. cross foiled a hitman's job and in turn the hitman kills cross's wife (and unborn child) and a member of his detective squad.
cross, along with his best friend and fellow detective, outsmart the villian end up killing him to stop the rampage against the police department.
not the best of the 3 movies. both the ashley judd and monica potter movies were better (the first two installments of the trilogy). rain day rental. GRADE: B-

When I saw Tyler Perry in the lead role I questioned whether that was a good fit for him.
I'll most likely pass on viewing this film.
