during the apocalypse, furiosa (charlize theron) attempts to save the wives of the evil leader by taking them to what she remembers as a paradise when she was a youth. she inadvertently forms an alliance with "max" against the evil leader and the cronies he hires to capture the women. we see the chase through the desert similar to that of the original mad max movie.
this movie is just "ok." I was not thrilled by it, but it was better than a lot of other action movies I've seen lately. GRADE: C.

My thought on this one was.... why? I really wish they would stop re-booting so many things. Some should just never be done and this was one of them.
