Create your strip and line up your stills on seperate layers. At the bottom of your layers palette is an icon to Add Layer Mask. Click on the icon for all the layers except the first/bottom still. Click on your gradient tool and press the Enter key to bring up gradient picker. Click on the black and white gradient that is the third from the left of the top row. Your gradient tool is still active. On the second still, click where you want the fade to start, then drag and release your mouse where your want to end the fade. Repeat for the remaining stills. If you are not satisfied with the results you can add or remove from the fade by choosing a brush (large with a soft edge) and painting with either black (to fade) or white to bring back parts of the still. _________________ If you can remember the sixties........you weren't there. |
