hi everyone.......here is a pic i took Thursday at 3:00 am........it's of my windshield of my semi-truck........i was driving along at 2:30 am when a barn owl.....decide to commit suicide on it ..........unfortunately for me it worked.....lol...
the talons on the bird were as big as my hand if that gives you indication how big the owl was....
it scared me half to death ....but i didn't panic just slowed down and pulled over....i'm ok.....and i'm real lucky it didn't come thru the glass....although i did spend 2 hours sweeping up glass......
....nice huh.... _________________ The heaviest baggage for a traveler is an empty wallet.

That's pretty scaring! You could of been hurt pretty bad if it broke the glass. I can only imagine a bird that size hitting you, also. If you remember what a pigeon did to Fabio a few years back! Glad nothing serious happened, could of been a serious accident to yourself.

That's a frightening pic! I don't think I could have done as well. I hope it won't be too expensive to repair. |

Anna, I can't see a picture here at all, maybe it's my computer . But I sure am glad it wasn't serious and you're not hurt. You can think of it this way though, your windshield now is clearer than before. _________________ Achievement.
