I don't know that I have ever seen a USB floppy drive, but here is a idea that in theory it will work for you. The LS-120 drive is a IDE device and backwards compatible with the floppy disc, it could be installed in a external USB case, normally one would put a IDE hardrive in such a case. This would give you a USB LS-120/floppy drive.
Heres a link to the LS-120

You'll need to shop around to see if you can find a cheaper one, I don't think they are produced any longer so you may see a lot of refurbished units. _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |

I bought one from Wal-Mart a couple years ago and it works great. I think it was $25-$30. Ive only used it 3-4 times but you're right sometimes they do come in handy. I havent had an internal floppy drive in any of my personal pc's for over 3 years. |

I seen one at Computer Rennaisance yesterday, a pigtailed USB floppy from NEC for $38, didn't know they made such a animal, I guess it for laptop applications primarily. _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |
