Watched this last night, a interesting film which takes place in England in the near future has a good story although the picture of the world it paints is a little too real and scary. V is a hero but is not superhuman, the story is told for the most part through Natalie Portman's character and the film has a equal mix of civility and action. I didn't know what to expect when I rented this but I can say I enjoyed it and would recommend it. _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |

Same here, I'm not real big on comic book movies but I've always loved V for Vendetta. It's one of the few comics I ever got into as a child and an adult. The film did it justice and is really good! |

Really? I would never had guessed that in a million years. He did a great job, especially with the accent. _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |

When I watched it, I knew V was played by Hugo, and all I could think about was him saying, "Mr. Anderson" (you know that voice!!!)from the Matrix.
I did, however, enjoy the movie and I thought it was well done
Natalie Portman was GREAT! |

I was somewhat disappointed with it. I guess I expected more. My wife liked it though - she told me that there was too much "relationship" for me and not enough "action". Oh well, if she liked it, it must have been good. (She's reading over my shoulder. )

It was a much more intellectual movie than I thought it would be, and I was pleasantly surprised. Fun to watch, clever dialogue, and just enough action to keep most fans interested. It even made things that would normally be cheesy work.I can see why some people wouldn't like it though. Wish I'd read the comic book.
The Professional. Another good film with Ms. Portman. |

Now the question is, is what the media presents real, or fake? They do seem to have a 'containment' area of which residents are not allowed to leave... Maybe the regime is hiding something? Maybe the world isn't as bad as they would have us believe? _________________ Ammaross Danan
