as is the case alot of times for me, the critics were just plain wrong...  i thought it was a pretty good movie. i think they could have cast better than tom hanks, but overall a solid B+ here.

The wife saw it but I haven't, she said it was good but was mildly disappointed, I think it is a case of overly high expectations. I may be able to see it this weekend then I will know for myself. It certainly seems interesting enough.

I liked it as well. I just wish I would have avoided all the other prgrams on it before I saw it. I knew the whole movie before I ever saw it due to all the publicity from the book.

Yeah that might actually hurt ticket sales, so many people have read the book and others have heard the whole storyline of the movie that some viewers just may wait til it goes to video.
