|
|
Hey again!
Well, I'm looking for ways to save a little money these days. So I'm wondering if any of you in the U.S. use broadband service for you lan line. How does it work? Do you just plug your phone into a hardware device... ?
Maybe I'll just look into the cheapest cell phone service.
I'm mostly just looking for options here, cheap ones!
If anyone has expereince in this department, any advice would be great.
Thanks again. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/animationjesus |

i use VONAGE. you have to use a router. and if you have comcast, your vonage router won't like that. so you need one in between.
but i've not had any issues....cept when i didn't know to make my phone line priorty....when i would download large files, it would screw with the phone quality. |

We use Time Warner cable, phone and broadband. The phone is connected by cable to an Apple Airport hub which we use as a lan for 2 macs. No problems so far. |

I use the Lightyear service. Their box is connected to my router. Works fine (even using Comcast). Voice quality is on par with regular phone service and the cost is about 1/3 of what I was paying. |
