sorry I,ve not been as active lately, but the wife has been on at me for a while to install a new kitchen, been 15 years since last refit  so she,s had the whip out and got me slaving awayfor the past 3 weeks......hope to be getting back to making some new covers soon.....if I have enough energy left

GB,
Where do wives get these crazy ideas? My wife is in the same mode...... heck, the kitchen is an original (30 years old), but I have painted it in the past.
Now I'm pulling cabinets off the walls and I'm expected to move the gas lines and a whole bunch of other stuff  ..........

Hope you kitchen looks good GB...... I tried to take out the dishwasher we have to make some more room and wouldn't you know it there's my wife behind me saying "what the heck do you think your doing.....PUT IT BACK OR YOUR DOING THE DISHES"

I know exactly what you're going through GB... A few months ago my misses decided that she wanted to change the colour schemm in the kitchen and so I had to order all new cupboard doors and fit them. As if this wasn't enough she decided that the fitted cooker & grill was getting old and she wanted a new one. Obviously I had no choice but to get one for her, or I would have never have heard the last of it. So good luck with your re-furbishing...
