Anyone have any advice on scanning covers with silver reflective text? Any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I'm sorry to say but there is no way to scan it good, i try't everything but nothing helps, Sorry.

The best i have come up with for scanning reflective disks is to scan it through a plastic A4 ring binder pocket . Sounds wierd i know but it sort of works to produce a stippled grey look insted of a rainbow.
Buy A4 pocket i mean the ones you put paper in in ring binders but not the ones that are like glass . The ones that have small bumps on the surface. You could also try the high quality tracing paper that draughsmen use if you can find any.

i have the same problem, i'll have a try with those ring binders.
I hope it helps with normal covers too because sometime's i got a squary patern in my scans. _________________ Better let people think ur a fool then open ur mouth and remove al doubt. |
