Sorry guys that I have not been around much.......my computer has been giving me some extreme grief and I am about ready to assemble a new system which I hope to be up and running by the New Year.

You have my sympathies Nightowl.
New Years is suppose to be a time of out with the old and in with the new.
Also, when you get the new one up and running you can tape a bullseye target on the old, take it out in the woods and put a few dozen holes in it. You'll feel better! _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |

Thanks Boneapart, GB and boxer
Boxer I wish I could take the old one out and have some fun and riddle it full of holes, but I don't have a gun ......but will think of something one day.
Well I hope I finally got this one pretty much up and running just trying to get all the software reinstalled, the painfull part of the process will be trying to track down all the other files, [fonts, templates etc.]. Like GB says about doing a backup, I keep saying to myself, "Tomorrow, I will do it tomorrow".
Once I get it more sorted and get a major backup done, I will hope to start the cover process again.
Used to do a restart on the old one and will be having my second cup of coffee when it finished booting up, now I just get my first cup made
So far so good, this baby rocks down the road I will upgrade the processor with a faster one, but for now this will do..
MSI K9MM-V motherboard
AMD AM2 X2-4000 dual core processor [good for now]
2x1024mb PC2-5300 DDR2 [667MHZ]
320gb sataII WD hard drive
1 removeable hard drive rack/tray [for backups and file storage]
LG 20x dvd burner
Windows XP Professional sp2
Acronis True Image Home 11.0 backup software
APC XS900 battery backup [approx. 40min battery run time, auto hibernate]
Parts on order and should be here tomorrow
Samsung SH-S183L SATA DVD Burner
Biostar GeForce 5200 / 128mb DDR / AGPx8 video card with dual monitor support
75% of the parts came from tigerdirect.ca _________________
