Anyone tired the Verbatim Aquaace dvd? I gave em a try over the weekend... they are competition for the Tayo Yundin watershields. GLossy fisnish and the print is amazing! 28.00 for 50 in Canada. Probably better in the US. _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |

do you really find that you need the waterproof discs? i've printed a ton of discs and never had water come close to them. they all look as good as the day they shot out of my epson.

I will consider them the next time I order.
I always liked the glossy finish I had with paper labels, they just looked more photo-like. Being waterproof doesn't really matter to me... I live in Arizona.... everything is waterproof! _________________ No matter how many times you try...you can't clone the dirt off your screen. |

It isn't so much that they are waterproof. it's just the overall finish of the label. Where as most print ons that I have seen are more of a matt type finish these are a very high gloss. The colors just pop right off the disc at you. They have the finish of a high quality photo.
and with the watershield they are not susceptible to smudging due to wet fingers. humidity ... anything of that nature. _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |

I use the Tayo Yundin watershields. I like the way they look when printed on with good art work, have been using them for a while now and am very pleased with them, I have thought about the Verbatim wateshields but figured I would wait till somebody else tries them. _________________ Ken |

I've done about a dozen now with the Verbatims.. very nice. Crisp clean colors and good results with the data. I'm quite pleased. _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |
