I was really disappointed with this movie. It had lots of action and explosions, as one would expect from a Terminator flick, but the story was rudimentary at best, the characters were wooden (even Christian Bale who I think is a fine actor)and there were holes in the motivations and actions of the machines that you could drive a semi through.
I found this movie rather lacking a soul. The blends of action, plotting and humour that came from the earlier forays was completely missing here, and the reasons why key people survived in this movie is completely beyond me.It just made no sense. The writers really screwed up big time here. I mean, there's suspension of disbelief and then there's acceptance of stupidity. You'll need a lot of the latter with this one.
Bottom line: wait for it on rental. |

Couldn't agree more. Saw it the other day and thou I haven't expected much I got less than I bargained for. Too bad. |

Thanks for the updates. I wasn't sure if this was one I wanted to see in theater or not.... Now I know _________________ For every person with a spark of genius, there are a hundred with ignition trouble. |

The reviews were really bad for this movie. I'm glad I didn't go see it. |
