anyone have a program (i hate the word "app") that syncs outlook and an android phone? contacts and calendar...TIA

You can do it through MS Exchange. You need to have a Exchange account, then from your Android phone go to: Settings/Accounts &Sync/Add Account/Microsoft Exchange Active Sync.
I don't have a need for it but I've been told it works extremely well.
Most corporations use MS Exchange for just that purpose.

hrrrmm, couldn't see how much that cost anywhere. i'm looking at a program put out by companionlink. seems to be the only stand alone thing that syncs outlook.
