this is the origin of spiderman and that of one of his earliest villians, the lizard. we also see the development of his relationship with his early love interest, gwen stacey, and the untimely death of her father, captain stacey.
this was better than i thought, but still prefer toby over the new guy, andrew garfield. emma stone was a nice cast as gwen stacey as was martin sheen and sally field as unclen ben and aunt may. i really don't like all of this "reboot" * that the movie studios have been pulling, but if you're a marvel comics fan, this is an entertaining movie.
